What is the legacy you want to leave behind?

When someone asked me, “What legacy do you want to leave behind?” — I fell silent.
For a moment, I closed my eyes and looked within.
I don’t dream of leaving behind towers of gold or shelves filled with awards. I want to be remembered not for what I owned, but for how I made people feel.
I hope I brought a smile to someone’s face when they needed it the most. I hope I was a moment of peace in someone’s storm.
If there’s anything I want to leave behind, it’s not my name in history books — but prayers whispered in quiet corners for me.
I want to leave this world the way a guest leaves a room: with lingering warmth, with a scent that reminds others I was once here, not to take, but to give.
Maybe a little kindness, a little courage, maybe just a few words that made someone believe again.
That, to me, is a true legacy.
That, to me, is a life well-lived.
